Welcome to La Gaura Guest House Rome Luxury B&B

In the verdant district of Casal Palocco halfway between Rome and the beaches and archaeological sites of Scavi di Ostia Antica on the Mediterranean coast. Our spacious villa occupies a hectare of private parkland where guests have free rein. On the property we manage our own vegetable patch and make our own marmalade from the fruit we grow. There’s also an outdoor pool (closed in winter, naturally) to enjoy here at La Gaura Luxury B&B accommodation near Rome.

Sports facilities in the Casal Palocco area are plentiful - just ask our friendly staff for whatever you want. There’s also golfing nearby, water-sports down at Scavi di Ostia Antica and just a little further afield you’ll find optimum out-of-town attractions such as Cinecittà World, Parco dei Medici and the ZooMarine Aqua Park.

MOVING AROUND

We’ll usually be able to help you get around but if you prefer exploring on your own there are nearby transport links both to Rome and down to the beach at Scavi di Ostia Antica. You can be in the city within about half an hour by day. We also have bicycles for hire!
